I had an appointment with my family doctor this week. Nothing special, just a routine check. I also received the results of my blood tests. I do not have diabetes, my cholesterol is fine, etc. And, most fun, I do not have AIDS. 
I didn't think I did, but as I was getting a blood test anyway, I had it checked. Being told "you don't have HIV or AIDS" by your doctor is always fun.
I will get an IUD (Intrauterine Device). It's a contraceptive, naturally. It doesn't protect against diseases, but I can still use condoms for that if needed. Actually, my doctor doesn't seem to trust condoms as a contraceptive, but he does trust them to prevent disease transmission.
Anyway...It's Easter weekend. My sister is here, with her partner and their baby. They also brought their damn cat. He keeps coming in my bedroom to eat my cat's food, and he growls and hisses at me while doing so.
Most importantly, though, Easter means the next episode of Doctor Who is finally coming!
